The mission of the Lakeside Heritage Society (LHS) is to preserve, promote, and advance and be a public resource for the history of Lakeside, its impact on the Marblehead Peninsula, and the Chautauqua Movement in America.
Founded in 1968 as the Lakeside Heritage Club, LHS operates the Heritage Hall Museum and Archives and provides educational programs related to the mission.
Where is Lakeside,Ohio?
Lakeside Chautauqua is located on the Marblehead Peninsula, about 50 miles east of Toledo, 80 miles west of downtown Cleveland, and 120 miles north of Columbus, on beautiful Lake Erie.
